Dr Irina Kompardt

Dr Irina Kompardt, Consultant Psychiatrist | FRANZCP, MD, Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, (Germany) is a Psychiatrist based in Perth, Western Australia.

Dr Irina Kompardt is a Psychiatrist qualified in both Australia and Germany. She completed her medical degree and specialist psychiatric training at the University of Hannover, Germany. After relocating to Australia in 2009, she completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Dr Mackereth has also completed Psychedelic Assisted Therapy training and is an Authorised Prescriber.

Dr Kompardt has worked across a range of inpatient and outpatient mental health settings in Western Australia for many years. She is known for her warm, compassionate approach and her commitment to providing personalised, holistic care.

Irina takes into account each patient’s unique social, cultural, and physical health.  She has a particular interest in the connection between mental and physical health, including the role of lifestyle factors such as exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, social connection, and routine in supporting mental wellbeing.

She understands that seeking mental health support can feel daunting, and aims to create a calm, respectful space where patients feel safe, heard, and supported.
